An abnormally large Hellsguard Roegadyn, Rhian Hatishna found herself leaving her homelands hidden deep within the Abalatheia Spine at the tender age of fifteen.Accompanied by her adopted brother, N'phena Tia, the pair wandered the lands together in hope of a better life away from those who had subjected Rhian to horrific abuse. Together they stormed the brunt of the Fifth Astral Calamity, only barely finding shelter underground ancient ruins between The Black Shroud and Thanalan.Years continued to pass the siblings, travelling through the wounded lands. After coming to blows with those who crossed their path a few too many times for comfort and with great heartache, both N'phena and Rhian would choose to part ways with a promise to find each other after gaining what they each needed to become adventurers and continue to wander the land of Hydaelyn together once more.Although stoic and painfully(if not deadly) silent, Rhian is not one to turn away someone who earnestly looks to her for support. Extremely anti-social and known to flee at the most gentle of approaches, Rhian is not what most would know Roegadyns to be, especially baring features that are not known for her kind. Her resting scowl and intimidating presence has oft saved her of many less than savoury interactions, her scowl only hardening over the years. Though this was not always the case and does not always work in her favour.Despite this; Rhian is highly technically minded. Baring a passion for Aetherosynthology; the art of using both elemental and non-elemental aspected crystals to store and weave Aether to create sounds of which no single musician can create alone. Also extremely musically talented, she had dreams of being a Bard and sing her tales across the lands of Hydaelyn, although this dream never came to be. In spite of this however; Rhian is a member of a Bard collective that compose and distribute their songs in the form of Orchestrion scrolls. Although her name is never penned on any of her songs, they are known far and wide and have earned her fans galore and the title of Siren. On the battlefront; Rhian, when pushed, is a force that not even Gods can conquer. Whether it be throwing her claymore like a javelin, or ripping her opponents apart with her bare hands, Rhian's methods know no limits. Thankfully such ferocity has never been called upon. While such level of violence has rarely been needed, Rhian is not a warrior of honour; she will do whatever it takes to silence whatever opponent dares to cross her.
History
Born "Bewildered Lotus", Rhian is the only born child of Burning Zinnia and Furious Tide. Both parents being highly respected people within the Hellsguard village that resides within the Abalathia Spine, they were overjoyed at the birth of their daughter for a time.Such a time did not last for long as the girl was not as boisterous or as extroverted as they had wanted her to be. Nor did Rhian wish to learn the art of Conjury, despite possessing an innate talent for White Magicks. Every thing that Rhian grew to be was the opposite of what her parents wished of her, thus they grew to treat her with great destain and hatred , while doing nothing but continue to dote and lavish affection on their older adopted son, N'phena.Such viewpoints were not held by N'phena. The Sunseeker was the only one to care for Rhian in all of her being. N'phena would be the one to nurture Rhian's love of music, finding similar love in music himself, the pair would spend days composing simple melodies together. He would also be the one to defend his sister against childhood bullies, despite their size difference, his love for his sister knew no bounds. N'phena refers to Rhian as “Lolo” as a play on her birthname being Lotus, which she responds with referring to him as simply; “Phe”. N'phena's presence in her life allowed Rhian to grow with a happy outlook on life with a bubbly personality, something her parents disapproved on as she was not growing to the standards they had set upon her.Over the years, her parents would do whatever they could to force their daughter to “grow up”.
Be it breaking the bow N'phena saved to buy for her eleventh namesday, subjecting her to constant belittling and mental degrading on the deepest levels, to Tide performing mock Decimates within centimetres of her to “toughen her up”.Such treatment continued and slowly eroded Rhian's once glistening soul, causing her eyes to soon darken. At the age of fourteen, Rhian had already lost any will to socialise, fearing rebuke from her parents and began to isolate herself more and more with each passing day. This change hurt her brother immensely but no change would compare to the incident in which her father, in his further attempts to force change on his daughter, misjudged a Decimate; striking Rhian's back, fortunately not killing her but left her with the scar she bares to this day. This was the force that drove N'phena into action and beseeched his sister to leave the village with him, never to return. Rhian's heart and drive left her broken and dead inside but she would not deny her brother. So they left the village behind in the dead of night and found themselves trying to get by as Sellswords for years before deciding they needed to gain better skills if they are to be able to live properly.Never again has Rhian considered herself a child of the village but she is strangely proud of being a Hellsguard.

Personality
★ Aloof - Not one to approach others willingly, Rhian is one for hiding away where the majority of people can not see her. If approached haphazardly, she will abscond in an almost panicked-like frenzy.★ Stoic - Upon perceiving your approach or sensing your nearby presence, and with an almost-deadly silence, Rhian will wait to see what your intentions are with a stone-cold poker face.★ Observant - Rhian is highly observant, from speech patterns to the most minute change in body language, she is able to determine a person's intentions and act accordingly.★ "An Almost-deadly Silence" - For most of her life, Rhian has been deadly silent. Often mistaken as being completely mute. As she puts it herself; why speak if you have nothing to say?★ Surprisingly warm - If her guard is cracked and you've managed to somehow find yourself within her comfort zone of people, of which there are very few, you'll find that Rhian's presence is that of a quiet warmth like no other.★ A slumbering Siren - Rhian is a highly talented, skilled songstress and Aetherosynthist. By submitting her music anonymously to the Bard's association of Eorzea, her music is widely known, highly sought and extremely beloved. Though she had once wished to be a Bard, Rhian is fine just knowing that people enjoy her work even if they will never know that the fabled Warrior of Light is its composer. Rhian is known to compose in utter solitude and if caught, will actively cry.★ Unfathomable Rage - Despite initial impressions, Rhian hides a powerful Draconic strength and a rage that could topple nations. With the blood of Ratatoskr running through her veins, she has suppressed her love of battle for years, although with the right motivation; can break the shackles of self-control and rip her foes apart with her bare hands.

Body Language
Despite being a Roegadyn, Rhian exibits many Miqo'te-esque traits. This is due to the fact that for most of her life, she was raised by her adoptive brother, N'phena Tia.Such traits include:♪. Twitchiness of the hands.
♪. Emphasized body movements i.e. head tilts when confused, small but quick hip movements(To simulate tail movements).
♪. Eye movements; Slow blinks, prolonged stares etc.
♪. Nostrils flare when anxious.
♪. Teeth exposure when irritated.
♪. Exaggerated stretching movements.
♪. Quiet chittering or chirping.
♪. Has been known to purr.
♪. Sits like a Hrothgar.
♪. Other traits include slight bouncing on her feet when highly nervous or aggressive.Whenever Rhian exibits these traits, it is not conscious, but when someone is to bring these quirks to her attention, she will become panicked and tear up slightly.

Relationships
Relationships are not exactly Rhian's forté.Despite her connections with the Scions(both professional and personal), Rhian is typically someone who solely keeps to herself. There are a few notable exceptions however;♥. Considers Sidergu Orl & Rielle de Caulignont family and can often be seen with them within the walls of Ishgard.♥. Considered a fully fledged Redbill and highly values their acceptance of her. Has begun to consider Leofard Myste as someone more than a friend but currently is unable to process her feelings on the matter.♥. Hamon Holyfist, to Rhian, is someone she sees as both her saviour and an Uncle-type figure in her life. Hamon found her terrified in the gutters of Pearl Lane, being prayed upon by those who had wished to do her more than just surface-level physical harm. Though his demeanor can be a bit...tiring, Rhian often makes time to drop in on him at the Pugilist's Guild.

Bewildered Blood
A full decade, if not more before Rhian's birth, Furious Tide would find himself confronted with the sight of mangled bodies, varying between those of the N tribe of the Spine and Ishgardian Elezen, both Nobility and Low-born servants. After a fiery altercation between the N tribe, who were escorting Ishgardian nobility through the Spine as per their profession of mercenaries, and a squadron of Garlean soldiers who had just happened to be passing through the same area; fire ripped through the caravans they had been travelling in not moments ago. This was the scene Furious Tide saw before him.Soon he and his group of other warriors cleared through the wreckage, driving off Garleans who were somehow still alive after such an altercation and checking on those who could be saved of the innocents, none of which were of the N tribe as the Ishgardians they had been hired to protect soon turned on them, nobles using the Miqo'te and even their own wait staff as meat shields against their attackers. The scene alone would haunt any mind but the context of such a body count would only make the notion more damaging.Soon enough, as he finished putting out the fire on one of the larger caraven, Tide heard a whimper. The cries of a child hiding for his life after his mother made herself a shield to save her son. Tide, seeing the boy cry over his mother was beside himself and ever so cautiously held out his hand to him, promising the child that the bad people are gone now and that he would care for him. The child soon accepted, as his own father taught him never to fear death and to celebrate what time we had with those who are gone, and took Tide's hand in turn.As he pulled the child into his chest, Tide's eye noticed a glittering of glass emerging from an ornate wooden box, its lock and hinges now broken from the destruction of the caravan. With his free hand, Tide would take what was now known to be a highly decorative glass vial from the shards of wood and examined it closely; it was blood. Thick and still a deep hue of red, it almost glittered gold when held to sunlight. Tide would examine this vial closely as he and the others headed back to the village, along with the child who was now sleeping soundly in the crook of Tide's arm.Upon looking at the vial in more detail, Tide soon recognised the seal placed upon it was a ward to keep the blood within fresh. He would also soon notice the label; one that he recognised being a symbol used amongst the high houses of Ishgard. Upon noticing such details and with brief knowledge of the locale, Tide deduces that this blood must be that of a dragon. Why else would a noble be carrying such a trinket is beyond him but he knew of the city's history and that the blood of a dragon is said to grant immense power to the one who consumes such liquid. Thus he decided to keep the vial to himself, not divulging such a find to the others, or to his wife. After awhile, he had forgotten the unexpected treasure he had acquired from that time.Until his wife fell pregnant with child. It was then he remembered the vial and then he made the decision that his child's first drink of life would be that of this vial. And so it was.It was at the birth of his daughter that he slipped that blood past the lips of the newborn babe and stole her life away.
